It Is Dangererous To Be Right When The Government Is Wrong

It Is Dangerous To Be Right When The Government Is Wrong  : The Case For Personal Freedom
Judge Andrew Napolitano

Judge Napolitano is a well known guest on Fox News, and author of several books. His latest book, It Is Dangerous To Be Right When The Government Is Wrong focuses on the United States Constitution and why we should all be worried about the growth of today’s government. He talks about past violations and how easy it is for politicians to expand the governments power during a time of crisis, such as during World War II, and after 9/11. Judge Napolitano is a constitutionalists, so there are plenty of examples throughout the book of the ways our government has already violated our personal freedoms. He makes it clear that the Republicans and Democrats both are responsible for the loss of freedoms that were supposed to be guaranteed by the Constitution. This book should scare a lot of people, and is meant to get a conversation going about changing the government back to the way it was meant to be.

It Is Dangerous To Be Right When The Government Is Wrong is an excellent book, and highly recommended reading for every American. Maybe if everyone was concerned with the loss of personal freedom, something might change. However, as long as we elect politicians who are simply power hungry, our rights will continue to be stepped on.

The Knowledge of Good and Evil

If you have an open mind, and enjoy good fiction, The Knowledge of Good and Evil is a great read. Many devout religious readers may take offense to the book, so I feel the need to remind those folks that this is fiction. This isn’t a DaVinci Code or anything like it, so for those who have either loved or hated that book, The Knowledge of Good and Evil has nothing to do with it. Ian has a near death experience and is convinced his parents have been condemned to an eternity in hell despite being good people who saved his life when he was a child. After years in the clergy, Ian is searching for a miracle that can convince him God does indeed exist and his parents are in heaven. With a team of doctors Ian begins experimenting with clinical death for a few minutes at a time, searching for answers. In The Knowledge of Good and Evil Ian’s actions do not go unnoticed and attracts the attention of an ancient society that exists to protect the church at all costs. Ian still  has friends in Rome, but they are not enough to protect him during this thrilling journey.
